73rd Annual General Conference of the St. Kitts-Nevis Trades and Labour Union set for this Sunday

ZIZ News…Oct 24, 2012 — Over 70 years, the St. Kitts-Nevis Trades and Labour Union has been the local champion for implementing International Labour Organisation conventions which span the scope of decent work agenda, sensitivity to HIV/AIDS in the workplace, occupational health and safety and gender equality.

The St. Kitts-Nevis Trades and Labour has an exemplary record of being the driving force to impact social change by lobbying for legislation as well as negotiating for the inclusion of key social impact issues in collective bargaining agreements.

In commemoration of the 73rd Annual General Conference of the St. Kitts-Nevis Trades and Labour Union, the general public and all comrades are hereby reminded that the Annual General Conference will take place this coming Sunday, 28th October, 10 am at Masses House, Church Street.

This year’s guest speaker will be His Excellency Sir Probyn Innis.

All Comrades and Trade Union section delegates are hereby encouraged to attend.
