8 Advance to the LIME Sponsored Senior Calypso Monarch Finals
BASSETERRE St. Kitts, Monday 16th December 2013 – After an exciting set of eliminations with sixteen (16) of the semi-finalists, eight (8) Calypsonians are now ready to continue the battle after their performances held on Sunday 15th December 2013 at the Sugar Mas Village.
The semi-finals produced the following Calypsonians who will be taking part in this year’s finals on Saturday 28th December 2013 as announced by the Chairman of the National Carnival Committee, Mr. Sylvester Anthony.

The judging criteria consist of LYRICS – Expression of Theme (5 points), Word Craft (15 points), Lyrics (15 points) and Creativity (5 points); MUSIC – Melody (15 points), Arrangement (10 points) and Originality (5 points); PERFORMANCE – Rendition (15 points), Presentation (10 points) and Demonstration (5 points).
The semi-finals competition was melodiously supported by musicians of Legends Calypso Tent and Proud Sound Calypso Tent.
