A juvenile among several persons arrested on the weekend

ZIZ News…April 2, 2013 — A juvenile was formally charged for the offence of House Breaking and Larceny which was committed on 26 March 2013.

Alistar Liburd of Brown Hill was formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 28 March 2013.

Calvin Archibald of Cleverly Hill, Sandy Point was formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 31 March 2013 at Sandy Point.

Davreen Brownbill of Crab Hill, Sandy Point was formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 31 March 2013 at Sandy Point.

Listoner Farel of Sandy Point was formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 31st March 2013.

Antonio Williams of Sandy Point was formally charged for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis With Intent To Supply which were committed on 1st April 2013.

Juancinto Palmer of Bath Village was formally charged for the offence of Simple Wounding which was committed on 1st April 2013.

Meanwhile, at the St. Christopher Circuit Court Jamari Lake of Shadwell Estate was convicted for the offences of Robbery and Rape which were committed on 26th April 2011, and sentenced to eighteen (18) years imprisonment for the Robbery charge, and twenty one (21) years imprisonment for Rape charge. Sentences are to run concurrently but he will serve the greater sentence with time serve on remand deducted.

Leon Jedderon of Conaree was convicted for the offences of Robbery and Rape which were committed on 26th April 2011, and sentenced to twelve years which was reduced to eight (8) years for Robbery, and for Rape he was sentenced to fifteen (15) years which was also reduced to ten (10) years.
