A Nevis squad has been selected

Sports Page—Wednesday 24th July 2013–President of the Nevis Amateur Basketball Association (NABA), Ms. Wanda Parry, recently revealed that fresh on the heels of the local Basketball tournament which was won by the CG Rebels team, a Nevis squad has been selected.

The squad is currently in training and practiced at the Brown Hill hard court on Monday night last.

Meanwhile, president parry is encouraging parents on Nevis to allow their children to be a part of an upcoming national youth basketball summer camp which is scheduled for August.

The camp is being coordinated by the St. Kitts-Nevis Amateur basketball Association in collaboration with the St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic committee.

The camp will be open to boys and girls ages 7 to 15 years. Ability and experience or the lack thereof, is not an issue. The schedule will be fined tuned to accommodate the skill level of the participants.

A small contribution of $5.00 EC is requested of each participant.

The camp in St. Kitts will be held from the 10th to the 16th August at Basketball city located at Victoria Road and the camp in Nevis will be held from the 17th to the 23rd August at the Brown hill hard court.
