A night under the stars

(ZIZ News) — Cohort4 of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College and Jenkins Ltd. Leadership Course recently hosted “A Night under the Stars”, a cocktail reception in aid of a very worthy cause.

The St. Kitts Nevis Special Olympics Association is the beneficiary of the reception, held on Saturday under the distinguished patronage of the Governor General His Excellency Sir S.W. Tapley Seaton GCMG, CVO, QC, JP.

The cocktail formed part of the curriculum of a leadership and training course undertaken by the CFBC Cohort 4 and Jenkins Ltd.

Cohort 4 representative Pearl Farier explained that the participants were tasked with implementing a business project.

She said, “Working with a team of future leaders, lectured by prominent and experienced motivators in an interactive classroom environment, cohort 4 set out to implement a business project.”

According to Farier, planning the event gave the participants the opportunity to use the knowledge gained during the course.

The Cohort 4 of the CFBC and Jenkins Ltd Leadership Course is thrilled to host tonight’s cocktail reception dubbed a night under the stars. Learning and working together in a group involved shared values, resources and ways of maintaining group synergy. Our success stems from our ability to transfer our knowledge gained in the course,” she said.

Farrier further stated that the 18 week interactive course aimed to provide a solid foundation in key leadership competencies and give the participants a transformational leadership experience.

Incorporated in the program were local acts including the Vivace Dance Company, Mr. Bagnall, Moko Jumbies and the KC5 Band.

The proceeds from the cocktail will be handed over at the Special Olympic Games at the Kim Collins Stadium on Saturday April 30th.
