A St. Pauls Shopkeeper is the latest shooting victim

ZIZ News…Feb 27 2012 — Investigations are moving ahead into the shooting death of a shop keeper from St. Pauls following an alleged robbery.

On Sunday night at around 11 o’clock Wingrove Parris was attacked and shot outside his business place.

Members of the CID and other Police Units responded to the scene to carry out their investigations into this the fifth homicide for 2012.

Parris was rushed to the Pogson Hospital in Sandy Point but died on arrival from the apparent gunshot wounds to his body.

The Police in St. Pauls are appealing to anyone with information on this latest homicide to come forward by calling the St. Pauls Police Station at 465-6281 or contact ACP Ian Queely who has responsibility for crime and Head of the CID Inspector Charles Smithen at 465-2241.
