(ZIZ News) — A man is recovering in the hospital after narrowly avoiding a head on collision with a bus on Tuesday.
According to reports at about 9:50 am Devon Herbert of Tabernacle was driving vehicle P1443, travelling east towards Cayon.
When passing through Canada near Construction Technologies (CONTEC) the driver said he saw a bus coming from the opposite direction. He said the bus was coming onto his side and he swerved to his left to avoid a collision.
The car reportedly skidded on the dirt on the side of the road and hit CONTEC’s wall.
When the police arrived on the scene the driver was unconscious.
He was taken to the JNF General Hospital.
The front of the car was extensively damaged.
Investigations are ongoing.
