ZIZ News…July 16, 2012 — The police in their quest to get on top of criminal activities in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis have made several arrest for various offences.

According to a release issued by the Press and Public Relations Officer, based on intelligence gathered, on 13/7/12 police officers in the Nevis Division removed another illegal fire arm and ammunitions from the streets of Nevis.

The head of the Nevis Division and the Commissioner takes this opportunity to thank all those who were involved in this operation.

In other developments, a young man was arrested and charged for rape which was committed on 6th July 2012, and a young man was also arrested and charged for indecent assault.

Meanwhile, Glenella Jarvis aka “KaKa” of New Road was formally arrested and charged for the offence of larceny committed on 6th July 2012, and Tajal Hyliger of Upper Shaw Avenue was formally arrested and charged for the offence of larceny committed on 29th June 2012.
