Band Clash set for Sugar Mas 40:40

ZIZ News…Oct 21, 2011 – After a series of meetings with representatives from a number of Bands in the Federation, The National Carnival Committee has officially opened registration for the 1st Annual Digicel Band Clash, predicted to be one of the largest events on the National Carnival calendar for Sugar Mas 40:40.

The Band Clash will offer an opportunity for Soca Bands to display their musical professionalism, skills, creativity and diversity. The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday 22nd December and will be the first event to be held in the new “Sugar Mill” venue, Warner Park Cricket Stadium.

Registration forms are available at the National Carnival Secretariat on Lozac Road and the deadline for registration is Friday 4th November at 4pm. No forms will be accepted after this date.
