BHS defeats CSS in high schools football championships

(Sports) The High Schools Football championship continued on Thursday 8th November when the Basseterre High School engaged the Charlestown Secondary team at the ET Willet Park.

The BHS boys were dominant in the early exchanges and the CSS team looked somewhat lethargic on the field. Matters only got worse as the fair sized home crowd support crew started to celebrate every goal scored by the BHS team.

This forced the CSS team to pick up their game and soon their fellow students were in their corner as they recognized the increased efforts of their team.

This climaxed with a consolation goal by the home team, to the cheers and shouts of their school support crew.
