ZIZ Newsroom, Basseterre, St.Kitts (March 8 2011) – Three students from the Basseterre High School have taken the top spots in the ZIZ 50th anniversary essay competition.
Allaric Pennyfeather a third form student has been declared the winner.
Second form students took the next two spots. Kimi-Lee Knight took second place and Kayid James took third place.
Each student wrote on the topic “Shaping The Future Of The Nation Through Radio Communication”.
The essay competition is one of several contests being held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of ZIZ Radio.
Upcoming events include a song competition, calypso competition, and an awards dinner.
