(ZIZ News) — Black San Bang-A-Lang is in full swing. The community festival got underway on Friday with “Proper Fix Up”, continued on Saturday with Tractorcade and will intensify on Sunday evening with the LIME Ms. Black San Swimsuit Pageant.

On Saturday, soca artist Jo Jo arrived in St. Kitts excited about performing during Sunday night’s pageant.

Our cameras greeted her at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport where she revealed her expectations for Sunday’s show.

“Lots of fun. Lots of fun for sure. Real bubbling….I’m all about vibes and happiness and I express that through my music and through my performance so look out for that, fun for sure,” she said.

Jo Jo also shared some highlights from her career as a soca artist.

“I have actually been performing for about four years. I’m actually a part of an all female band back in Trinidad called Sass…I started off doing background vocals and I professionally started doing frontline singing two years ago with my first release shake that and since then, it was just amazing. The song took off and my career took off from there and since then, I’ve been performing solo,” she said.

Jo jo was born Joanna Hutton. She is 22 years old.
