Blue Bear Campaign visits Beach Allen

(ZIZ) The Beach Allen Primary School today hosted representatives from The Probation & Child Protection Services who are carrying out the Blue Bear Campaign, a campaign aiming to sensitize children about breaking the silence about child sexual abuse.

Tivanna Wharton, Probation Officer, reminded the children that adults or even siblings are not supposed to handle them inappropriately.

Wharton told the students to pay attention because the person may come at them in different ways.

Next week the Beach Allen Primary School intends to continue the sensitization as it will be celebrating Social and Health Awareness Week, that’s from october 21st to 25th.
