Brijesh Lawrence continues to shine on the Collegiate circuit

ZIZ News…March 5, 2012 — Kittitian sprinter Brijesh Lawrence continues his medal count with another great performance at a recent athletic event.

Lawrence won his 6th National Collegiate title and 7th all American title with his sprint double victory at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 60m and 200m.

Brijesh also clocked the 2nd fastest 200m time in the world of 20.94seconds.

The Ministry of Sports and the St. Kitts Nevis Amateur Athletic Association have joined in congratulating Brijesh on his outstanding performance and wish him all the best at the World Indoor T & F Championship in Istanbul.

Tiandra Ponteen will also be attending the World Indoor Track and Field Championship in Istanbul.
