The two were selected after a contest promoted on www.MarryCaribbean.com, Couples were required to write an essay about how they met and why the Caribbean was their dream honeymoon destination. “The thought of spending our honeymoon in the Caribbean is a fantasy we share at the moment,” Ms. Gurley wrote.

Thousands of New Yorkers and visitors to the “Big Apple” are expected to witness their public at Vanderbilt Hall, Grand Central Terminal on Wednesday 6 June.
