In celebration of St. Kitts and Nevis’ 30th anniversary of independence, on 19 September 2013, we have created a unique 30 year timeline posted on the ‘My St. Kitts’ Facebook Page.

According to the St. Kitts Explorer Newsletter, while representing the growth of tourism in the destination since 1983, this timeline also reflects an exciting time for St. Kitts and Nevis as the two islands undergo a programme of major development and growth. Highlights include the opening of the first Park Hyatt at the Christophe Harbour resort, two new championship golf courses, a marina and new private air terminal which, together with the main resort of Christophe Harbour, and additional St. Kitts and Nevis developments, will boost the destination’s accommodation sector.

We’ve listed some important dates here and invite you to view the full timeline on Facebook.
