CEO of St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank retires

(ZIZ News) — CEO of The St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank, Dawne Williams has officially retired.

Williams was honoured during a farewell ceremony on Wednesday by members of government and other banking officials.

Prime Minister Dr. The Hon. Timothy Harris, referred to her role at the St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank as “Legendary”.

“Today I take the distinct honour and the privilege to present this token of appreciation to Dawne Williams. Ms. Williams has now become a legendary figure in terms of banking, not just in St. Kitts and Nevis but beyond.

Accepting a token of appreciation Williams reflected on her journey with the bank.

“I want to take the opportunity as well Mr. Prime Minister to say it has been an absolute pleasure working with you. I came back to give back and that I did. The National Bank as you said is the corner stone of the financial institutions not just in St. Kitts Nevis but in the Union as a whole and our flag stands high. It is been said that when the seas are rough, is when you test what the Captain does. I am glad that I worked through a time when the seas were rough and kept a calm head and continued to set sail and landed safely ashore”, she expressed.

Williams is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania First Caribbean Leadership programme. She is also a member of the UK Institute of Financial Services.

Dawne Williams assumed the post of Chief Executive Officer of the bank on September 1, 2013.
