Christophe Harbour hires new Chief Operating Officer

BASSETTERRE, ST. KITTS (July 5, 2012) – Christophe Harbour Development Company, Limited is pleased to announce it has hired Bill Lee as its new Chief Operating Officer effective immediately. A former resort operator and general manager, Lee will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Christophe Harbour overseeing all aspects of the development.

He succeeds LeGrand Elebash, who has left the company to form a consultancy to help bring more direct investment to St. Kitts.

Lee has spent his career in the luxury resort and hospitality industry having worked for Westin Hotels and Resorts, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Scrub Island Development Group and most recently Rock Resorts. For the past nine years he has lived and worked in the Caribbean both in the British Virgin Islands where he opened Scrub Island Resort, Marina, and Spa and the Bahamas as General Manager of Bimini Bay Resort and Marina.

Throughout his career, Lee has fostered positive relationships within the community and government where he has lived and worked. His ability to collaborate with all manner of public and private entities as well as being dedicated to giving back to the island community will positively impact both Christophe Harbour and St. Kitts.

Additionally, Christophe Harbour will benefit from his operational experience as it continues developing resort amenities such as a hotel, marina village and golf course in the coming years.
