Cotton Ground draws first blood – dominates Hitters to take game 1

ZIZ Sports…Oct 18, 2010 – The Joseph Parry Cotton Ground Rebels took Game 1 of the Lime SKABA Premier Division Finals series vs the Rams Hitters.

Despite the absence of leading scorer Jenerson “Buju” France the CG Rebels dominated most of the game relinquishing the lead just once during the entire game.

Final Score 82-78.

Rams Hitters will no doubt be seeking to bring in the reinforcements with overseas based Barry University forward Marvin “Skywalker” Davis to ensure a Game 2 Victory.

CG Rebels will likely see the return of leading scorer Jenerson France come Game 2 as well. Game 2 will be on Thursday at Basketball City.

In the other game the Village Tickers took Game 2 of the “A” Division Finals with a comfortable 72-58 victory over the Horsfords Rootsie.
