Date for 2011 Budget Address announced

ST. KITTS, DECEMBER 7, 2010 (CUOPM) – Budget Day in St. Kitts and Nevis is Tuesday December 14th 2010.
This has been disclosed by St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, The Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas during last Friday’s sitting of the National Assembly.
Adjourning the sitting to Monday 13th December, when the lawmaking body will continue debate on the Interception of Communications Bill, 2010, Prime Minister Douglas said he will deliver his Budget Address for the financial year 2011 on Tuesday 14th December 2010.
The lengthy adjournment allows the Attorney General and Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Hon. Patrice Nisbett, to attend two important meetings overseas.
