Date set for National Bank AGM

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JANUARY 31ST 2012 (CUOPM)- A date has been set for the next annual general meeting of the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank.

Secretary Mrs. Yvonne Merchants-Charles said the 41st Annual General Meeting of the Bank will be held at the Ball Room of the St. Kitts Marriott Beach Resort on Thursday16th February 2012 at 5 p.m.

She said share holders will receive and confirm the Minutes of the Meeting held on 13th September2011, consider matters arising from the Minutes, receive the Directors’ and Auditors’ Reports and receive and consider the Accounts for the year ended 30th June, 2011.

Shareholders will also declare a final dividend, elect Directors and reconfirm the appointment of Auditors for the year ending 30th June 2012.

Mrs. Merchant-Charles said all shareholders on record as a 31st January 2012 will be entitled to receive a final dividend in respect of the financial year 30thJune 2011.

She pointed out that a member of the company who is entitled to vote at this Annual General Meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to vote in his stead.

No person shall be appointed a proxy who is not entitled to vote at the meeting for which a proxy is given.

The proxy form must be delivered to the Company Secretary 48 hours before the meeting.
