Double salary for PEP

(ZIZ News) — Workers on the People’s Employment Programme will also be getting a double salary in December.

Information out of Government Headquarters indicates that next month when civil servants receive the bonus announced by Prime Minister Harris, PEP workers will also receive an extra month’s salary.

Prime Minister Harris said the government estimates potentially thirty million dollars will be pumped into the economy as a result of this bonus.

The December payday for civil servants falls on the 14th. Reduced VAT Day is on the 16th.
