Dr. William Connor to Host Gospel Concert

As part of its child friendly initiative, the Dr. William Connor Primary School will be hosting a gospel concert later this week.

Grade 5 teacher and co chair person for the concert’s subcommittee Kevington Pemberton said the concert is being hosted as a fundraiser to enhance the child friendliness of the school.

He spoke of what can be expected on the night.

Mr. Pemberton invited the public to support the school in this initiative which he hopes will be be an annual event.

The concert will also feature other local gospel artistes, a raffle and an appearance by Santa Claus.

The Dr. William Connor “Believing in Yourself” Gospel Explosion 2018 will be held on November 30th at the school’s grounds at 7pm. Tickets are available at the school and at Laws Bookstore on Cayon Street.
