Fire arm found on school grounds

ZIZ News…April 22, 2013 — A tip given to the police has led to the discovery of a fire arm.

According to a Police Press Release, on Saturday 20 April 2013 members of the Joint Security Forces acted on information and retrieved a fire arm which was tossed onto the grounds of a school in Basseterre by a perpetrator.

One (1) person was taken into police custody to assist with the investigation, and the fire arm will be examined.

Meanwhile in several arrests made on the weekend, Elvis Mills of Paradise Road, Conaree was formally charged for the offence Disorderly Conduct by Making Noise which was committed Port Zante 19 April 2013.

Mervil Johnson of Middle Island was formally charged for the offence of wounding which was committed on 18 April 2013, and Owen Dolphin of Tabernacle Village was formally charged for the offence of Molestation which was committed between April 1 to 18, 2013 at Tabernacle Village.

Shaquile Chumney of Ottleys Village was formally charged for the offences of Disorderly Conduct by Fighting and Wounding which was committed 19 April 2013 at Potential Bar.
