Four young men and a juvenile to face the court on various charges

ZIZ News..Aug 23, 2012– The Police have stepped up their anti-crime mission with a number of arrests over the past three days which also included a juvenile who was charged for a traffic related offence.

In a release issued by the Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector David, it stated that Jevon Maynard of Carty Alley, Newtown was formally charged for the offence of Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm, committed on Wednesday 22nd August 2012.

Meanwhile two men Dale Hazel of Challengers and Hagell Rawlins of Old Road were formally charged for the offences of Larceny and Receiving, committed on 17th August 2012 at Frigate Bay and Edwin Gaiton of Upper Market Street and Valentine Graham of Upper Cardin Avenue were formally charged for the offence Unlawful Possession, committed on 22nd August 2012 at the Bay Road.

The release also stated that a juvenile was formally charged for the offence of taking a vehicle without the consent of the owner and driving without a Licence and Insurance, committed today Thursday August 23 2012.
