Government to support private sector businesses

(ZIZ News) — Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris has pledged the government’s support to private sector entities in 2017 to ensure continued economic growth in the federation.

“From day one, we want to start working hard, delivering for the people. We will be as supportive as we can to all private sector entities within the country because we do believe and we want them to be the providers of jobs, the creators of opportunities within our country, the pathway to the empowerment of our people and the pathway to prosperity in the end,” he said.

Prime Minister Harris said the country is on the growth path as it has been the single most important performer in terms of economic development in the Currency Union.

He said 2017 promises to be an even greater year for the federation.
