Governor General continues school visits

(Government House) — His Excellency The Governor-General Sir S. W. Tapley Seaton, GCMG, cvo, QC, JP, visited three (3) primary schools in S1. Kitts on Monday morning.

The first school visited by The Governor-General was the Beach-Allen Primary School where His Excellency participated in the school assembly. He also spoke to the students and wished them well in their Test of Standards exams which are presently ongoing.

The second school visited was the Tucker-Clarke Primary School, the largest primary school in the Federation. There he addressed the student body and encouraged them to study well and to become model citizens.

The third primary school visited on Monday was the Deane-Glasford Primary School. His Excellency at all three schools presented copies of the booklet produced by him on Government House and former Administrators, Governors and Governors-General and the duties of the Governor-General.

His Excellency intends to visit every primary school in the Federation to introduce himself and to seek to encourage our primary school students to be excellent students and citizens.
