Gunmen kill three, injure two in Sav-la-Mar

Westmoreland, Jamaica — Gunmen went on the rampage in the inner city community of Russia in Savanna- la- Mar, Westmoreland early Tuesday night leaving three people dead and another two injured.

Reports are that about 8:30 pm a group of people were playing dominoes along Hudson Street, also called Russia, when they were pounced on by gunmen who fired randomly at the gathering.

When the shooting died down three persons lay dead and another two were rushed to hospital nursing gunshot wounds.

The extent of the injuries of those hospitalised is uncertain.

The names of the deceased have not been released.

The Savanna-la-Mar police, who have commenced a probe, are up to 10 o’clock Tuesday, yet to establish a motive for the deadly attack.
