KINGSTON, Jamaica — Two men are dead following an alleged shootout with the police in Kitson Town, St Catherine Monday night.
The deceased, whose names have not been confirmed, are said to be teenagers of a March Pen Road address in the parish.
Preliminary reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that shortly after eight o’clock, a taxi operator was allegedly robbed of his vehicle by the two. An alarm was made to which police responded.
It is said that the police intercepted the vehicle after which the men engaged them in a gun battle and were fatally shot. Three firearms were taken from the men, according to unconfirmed reports.
