(ZIZ News) — Parliamentary Representative for Constituency #1 Hon. Ian Liburd has made sure that no one is left out this season, as he donated to the old and the young over the past weekend.
During closing remarks at the most recent National Assembly sitting, Minister Liburd spoke of his community involvement for the season.
“In East Basseterre…..Constituency #1 I should say, we remain true to our christian values of giving, sharing and taking care of others. Matter of fact just yesterday, we took care of 60 of our senior citizens. We also distributed, yesterday, toys and gifts to approximately 500 children in East Basseterre—in Constituency #1,” he said.
He added that this is his way of saying thanks to the people of Constituency #1.
Minister Liburd credited the Ian Patches Liburd Social Assistance and Youth Development Fund through its chairperson and other members for their assistance in making the weekend’s activities successful.
