‘I AM DANCE’ DANCE WORKSHOP begins next week
ZIZ News…Aug 28, 2012 — Rolston Ryan who started out dancing from a very young age is now sharing his love for dance with those persons who are interested in the artform.
A 10 year Veteran of the “Vivace Dance Company” he has participated in a variety of dance workshops; 2006 – “Christylights Dance Academy” in St.Lucia, 2007 and 2012 at the “Edna Manely School Of Visual and Performing Arts” where he was tutored by trained professional Dancers/Choreographers.
Ryan has performed for private and government functions as well as performing and helping different churches organizations. Mr. Ryan is planning to do a BFA in Performance & Choreography.
“My passion and love for dance gave me that drive to stay focused and keep on pushing myself to become the best dancer I can” said the enthusiastic dancer.
The workshop which begins from Monday SEPT 3 – 7 2012, at the YOUTH AND COMMUNITY CENTRE VICTORIA ROAD BASSETERERE ST. KITTS , will be looking at various genres such as ZULU, MODERN, DANCE IMPROVISATION, JAMAICA FOLK and DANCEHALL.
According to a release the workshop runs from 5 PM – 7PM for TEENS 13 -16YRS from 7:30 – 9:30PM and 17 YRS & OVER & ADULTS.
