(ZIZ News) — St. Kitts’ Khyla Brown is the newly crowned Miss Caribbean Culture Queen 2016 after capturing the title just after 12 in the morning at the Nevis Cultural Complex on Tuesday.

Brown emerged as the winner after snagging the Best Evening Gown segment, the Best One-Piece Swimsuit segment, the Best 2-Piece Swimsuit segment, the Best All White Swimwear, Best Promotional Video and the Best Performing Talent segment.

Miss Dominica Tasia Floisac captured the 1st runner up position while the 2nd runner up position went to Miss Antigua Leanda-Ann Norville.

Miss Dominica also received the award for the Best Interview and and Miss Photogenic.

Miss Dominican Republic Jamilet Ramirez-Guerrero received the Miss Amity award.

Miss Trinidad and Tobago Djennicia Francis received the award for the best Question and answer segment.

The other countries who participated were Miss Nevis Evania Thibou, Miss Anguilla Jahnel Nisbett, Miss BVI Yadali Thomas, Miss St. Croix Khalifa Antoine, Miss Barbados Megghan Michael, and Miss St. Martin Mimelie Jouenne.

This year’s flow Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant’s theme was, “Passion Vibrancy Excitement Elegance”.
