Kim Collins shines once again on the international circuit

ZIZ News…Oct 26 2011 – St. Kitts and Nevis’s sprint icon, Kim Collins has placed second in the 2011 Pan American games 100 meter finals, giving the Federation its first medal ever at these games.

The 34 year old sprinter clocked 10.04 seconds behind Jamaica’s Lerone Clarke who finished first in 10.01 seconds.

This victory comes just one day after Collins set the new Pan American record in the 100 meters with a time of 10 seconds flat.

Collins’ next race will be the men’s 4×100 meter event which starts on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Tameka Williams, Antoine Adams and BJ Lawrence will be representing the Federation Tuesday in the 200 meter races.
