Kittitian-born Dr. Allan Somersall appointed to Stemtech Scientific Advisory Board

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 15TH 2012 (CUOPM) – Kittitian-born Dr. Allan C. Somersall, has been appointed to the prestigious Board of Stemtech International, Inc., a pioneer in the field of stem cell nutrition.

The Sandy Point-born Allan C. Somersall, M.D., Ph.D. is a renowned physician, scientist and gifted speaker and lives in Toronto, Canada.

“The creation of our Scientific Advisory Board showcases the high level of dedication we at Stemtech have to continuing clinical research and education related to our groundbreaking products,” said Ray C. Carter, Jr., Stemtech’s co-founder, president and CEO.

During more than 30 years of practicing family medicine with specialization in ophthalmology and dermatology, Dr. Somersall has pursued and studied forward-thinking approaches to natural health as he also developed expertise in writing and lecturing.

He was attracted to Stemtech, he says, because, “Stem cell science is on the cutting edge of health and medicine today, since adult stem cells have been shown to be the natural renewal process of the body. He has lived in Canada since he matriculated at the University of Toronto in 1970.

In the years following, he earned a bachelor’s degree (with honors), a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in chemistry before completing his degree in medicine. He has authored five books on natural health subjects and successful living and has both authored and co-authored a number of original peer-reviewed publications.
