(ZIZ News) — The creator of Kittitian Superstar, St. Clair “Chico” Guishard says the annual competition is more than just a show.
He said the programme gives young people an avenue to showcase their talents and put their energy into something positive.
“I think that Kittitian Superstar is a great platform for those talented youth that we have to showcase their talent because we’ve seen what’s happening with our youngsters and we’ve created that avenue, that platform for them to showcase their talent. I find that if the youth get that avenue to do that they’ll have less time to get themselves into trouble,” he said.
The Kittitian Superstar TV Sing-Offs begin on Wednesday when Group 1 faces off in the gospel category.
Two singers will be eliminated. Those who move on will be announced the following week.
