“We as a company—Lime that is–felt the need to reach out and assist the Verchild’s High School in getting that programme back up and running. For us, it was not just a matter of getting the programme back to where it was before that incident, but helping it move forward and we sat down and we literally said what do you need? What do you need to keep it going, what do you need to make it a success and you let us know and we are very happy to be here today to donate this equipment to you,” Edwards said to the students.

The school’s Deputy Principal Roger Woodley spoke of how the newly donated equipment will be beneficial to students.

He said “the equipment will come in very handy for our students. Today also is the Agricultural Science Fair and so getting these tools will not only equip our students but it will also open a career for them. So thank you very much Lime for stepping on board and partnering with the Verchild’s High School. We appreciate it very very much.”

Among the agricultural equipment donated by Lime were a range of hand tools, fertilizers and wheel barrows.
