ZIZ News…Dec 3, 2012 — Law Enforcement officers from throughout the region will be benefitting from a Homicide Investigation course hosted in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The course opened this morning, Monday 3rd December 2012, at the Police Training Complex in Basseterre.

According to information from the Public Relations Office of the Police Force, the course is sponsored by the US Government, and the Trainers are Agents of the (FBI) Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Among the local Police Representatives attending the course are ten (10) officers from other countries in the region who will be involved in the intense training. This training follows closely on the heels of a training course in video interview of suspects in criminal cases about a month ago.

A senior Police Official stated that implementing such modern technology will make sure that officers will have the necessary tools available to ensure that justice is served and criminals do not have a chance to walk away from charges brought against them because of any deficiencies.
