Local Soap Opera Coming to ZIZ TV

ZIZ News…July 12, 2010 – A local soap opera called “Under The Sun” is giving Kittitian actors a chance to shine.

Tonicia Martin created the show as an avenue for local actors to show their talents to the world.

“Young persons or older persons in society have to create a place where our people can show their talent to the world. So that’s what I’m trying to do with ‘Under The Sun’: show people that we have actors in our federation.

So far three episodes have been made and broadcast on the internet.

Martin says the response has been great and they are working on more episodes.

She also plans to move the show to ZIZ TV to reach a wider audience.
