Lyn Jeffers goes down to VOJN

(Sports) The Lyn Jeffers Primary School was pulled down from their high on Thursday as they came up against a spirited VOJN team. This as action in the Primary Schools’ Football tournament continued.

The VOJ team which has shown vast improvement as well this year, under Coach Phillip, scored very early in the first half.

The Lyn Jeffers team on the other hand lacked aggression at the top, on the day, as they were missing their key striker, young Hoffman.

In his place, just to get the usual 6th player, they asked one of the young lasses from the school whose role was basically to just stand on the field.

VOJN struck the back of the net in the second half, to make it 2 goals to nil.
