Man charged for rape

(ZIZ News) — The police have charged a man from Basseterre for two incidents of rape.

A police report said the man, who was unnamed, was charged on Monday.

The police say the incidents took place on February 3 and March 31 of this year.

A senior police official told ZIZ that the law dictates that neither the accused nor the victim can be identified in cases of sexual assault.
