Man Dies In Prison

ZIZ News [September 9 2013] — Police are trying to find out what led up to a man suddenly dying in Her Majesty’s Prison this morning.

According to a senior official, at around 7:30 this morning 31-year-old Glen Webbe of Cardin Avenue complained of pains in his abdomen and then collapsed and died shortly afterwards.

The police were called in and the medical examiner pronounced him dead.

Officers say there were no incidents of violence before-hand and pending the results of the post mortem they believe he died of natural causes.

An autopsy will be conducted later.

Webbe was on remand after being arrested for carrying abroad an offensive weapon, which was allegedly committed on 19th august.
