Massy United Insurance St. Kitts Nevis Ltd officially launched

(ZIZ Newsroom) — Massy United Insurance St. Kitts Nevis Ltd was officially launched at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort on Friday.

Music, mingling and drinks kicked of the launch ceremony hosted by Branch Manager for Massy United Insurance (MUI) St. Kitts Nevis Tuffida Stewart.

In brief remarks, President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Jose Rosa welcomed Massy United Insurance to the federation.

The opening of Massy United Insurance in St. Kitts brings the company’s global reach to 18 territories.

Chief Commercial Officer of MUI Mark Sommerville spoke of what the company expects to bring to the federation.

“Massy is one of the largest and strongest insurance companies in the region. Beyond the statistics, our focus is on our customers. We believe in people and we believe in relationships more than we do in numbers and that’s the true essence of what we want to bring to the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis,” he said.

Massy United Insurance forms part of the Massy Group, one of the Caribbean basin’s largest conglomerates comprising of over 60 companies.

Chief Executive Officer of Massy United Insurance Howard Hall said understanding purpose of the company is essential in understanding the group.

“Our purpose is simply to be a force for good, creating value, transforming lives and that itself brings a vision and to be a force for good, what we want to become and our aspiration is to be the most profitable and responsible investment company in the Caribbean basin,” he explained.

Massy United Insurance will be providing customers with general insurance solutions including home, motor, marine, travel and business coverage.
