Nationals in New York to hear from PM Douglas on Sunday

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JUNE 6TH 2013 (CUOPM) – Nationals of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis living in the Tri-State of New York and surrounding areas get an opportunity to hear first-hand from St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas this Sunday June 9th 2013.

Prime Minister Douglas will be the guest speaker during a Town Hall Meeting at 3061 Bainbridge Avenue, Bronx, New York 10467.

The meeting starts at 6:30 P.M.

Prime Minister Douglas is expected to update nationals on the impact of the international economic and financial crisis on the local economy, highlight the challenges faced and the decisions taken to reduce the national debt as well as discuss the achievements in tourism, healthcare, public utilities, agriculture, housing, manufacturing, sports, culture and social development.
