Nationals in Toronto to hear from Deputy PM and Sir Edmund

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 4TH 2011 (CUOPM) – Nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis residing in Toronto will get an update on developments at home during an event organised by the Federation’s Consulate General.

Dubbed “Engaging St. Kitts and Nevis nationals in the Diaspora,” the featured speaker will be Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Homeland Security, Labour and Social Security.

The Guest Speaker will be Sir Edmund Lawrence, Managing Director of the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank.

The meeting will be held at the North York, Civic Centre on 5100 Yonge Street (Council Chambers) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday 16th November.

The event comes three days after the Consulate General in collaboration with the St. Kitts Canadian Association and NevCan feature The Sugar Boys at a fundraiser on Sunday November 13th at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel on 475 Young Street and two days after the away game of the Sugar Boys with Canada.
