Nevis Football Association hosts Press Briefing

(Sports Page)— The Nevis Football Association hosted a press briefing on Wednesday 19th March at the Nevis Sports Department.

The session was chaired by President George BRIGO Meade who noted that the main purpose of the briefing was to announce and present the Nevis Football Association selection committee and Coaching staff.

He noted that the proposed Leeward Islands tournament may not be played but that a Nevis squad will be selected and games will be arranged between Nevis and islands such as Montserrat, St. Kitts, Anguilla and Tortola etc.

These will involve exchange matches between the teams.

He introduced the two important bodies as follows:

SELECTION COMMITTEE—Ray Brantley –chair person; Jamir Claxton and Anthony Lawrence

Their task is to ensure that a competitive squad is selected and that Nevis is well represented when the opportunities arrive.
