The group of 17 was touring St. Kitts after disembarking the cruise ship Celebrity Mercury but fortunately no one was harmed in the unprecedented incident.

Premier of Nevis and Minister of Tourism the Hon. Joseph Parry said “We strongly condemn this act and continue to regularly address our public safety initiatives, ensuring that Nevis remains an example of safe Caribbean tourism,”

Last year, over five hundred thousand cruise passengers safely visited St. Kitts. Nevis remains a calm island known for its hospitality and warm, friendly people.
