Nevis Robbery Update

Another person has been taken into police custody in connection with a robbery in Nevis that took place early Tuesday morning.

The police had previously arrested one male on suspicion of robbery for the incident which occurred at a couple’s house in Hamilton.

The victims had said that two males were involved. The police had been hunting for the second robber.

Today, police reported that a young man was taken into custody for questioning in connection with that incident.

The police have also been looking for a suspect in a second robbery in Gingerland. The victim was hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries.

Charges are yet to be laid for either of these incidents.
