New Antigua-Barbuda ambassador pays courtesy call on Bahamas colleague

Washington, USA — Sir Ronald Sanders, the newly appointed ambassador of Antigua and Barbuda, and the country’s nominee for Commonwealth secretary general, paid a courtesy call on Eugene Newry, ambassador of The Bahamas, in Washington, DC, on Thursday.

Sanders, an internationally known writer, consultant, and long serving diplomat of Antigua and Barbuda, met with Newry to discuss matters of mutual interest affecting both countries and the wider Caribbean Community (CARICOM) region, including small island developing states.
