No show at GRG

There was a general no show of players at the Gingerland Recreation grounds on Sunday 16th March for the scheduled second division match between SDA Jets and Empire.

There were several players for the Jets team present by 2 pm when the official umpire Denrick Liburd called off the game. Other Jets players who were on their way were notified not to come as not a single player from the Empire team, showed up.

There has been much heated debate over the issue of the non grading of players in the second division league this year but it is not clear if that is the reason why the Empire team did not show up for the encounter.
