One in Custody for Newton Ground Stabbing

Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 26th 2012 — Police have a young man in custody in connection with the stabbing death of Chelston Mills in Newton Ground.

According to a statement St. Clair Elliot, better known as “Scamba” was taken into custody on Wednesday.

No arrest has been made as yet and investigations are ongoing.

At around noon on Wednesday, 22 year old Chelston Mills was stabbed to death near the Newton Ground Primary School.

This is the thirteenth homicide in the federation for the year.
